Cusco - Perú

Cusco, sacred city and the capitol of the Inca Empire was the government center of the four big administrative regions named Tahuantinsuyo. This fabulous empire extended to a great part of what today is Ecuador, Colombia, Perú, Bolivia, Argentina, and Chile. The Inca Empire was a very well structured society. It stands out for having a great knowledge in architecture, hydraulic engineering, medicine and agriculture.

This is a tour that combines different attractions around the city. We will visit both Incan and Colonial sites.

ITINERARY:

After we pick you up from your hotel we are going to visit some of the most impressive Incan stonework at Qoricancha (temple of the sun). There are magnificent colonial art and paintings in the Cathedral. Later we will visit the impressive Incan fortress of Sacsahuaman, and Archaelogical sites including Qenqo, Pukapukara and the spring shrine of Tambomachay.
