All necessary things for this tour:
   
TRANSPORTATION- transfer in/out airport/hotel/airport, private bus for the Sacred Valley tour, the same bus will transfer you from Ollantaytambo to Km 82 starting point of the Inca Trail, bus down from Machupicchu to Aguas Calientes, tourist train backpacker class from Aguas Calientes to Cusco, transfer to your hotel, flight tickets round trip from Cusco to Puerto Maldonado.
   
ENTRANCE FEES- For the Sacred Valley tour, Inca Trail and Machupicchu.
 
MEALS- All breakfasts in the hotels, as well as the meals in the jungle lodge and delicious meals on the Inca trail prepared by professional chefs. Food includes pancakes, omelets, soups, fresh fruit, avocado, pasta, chicken, fish, meat, rice, all rich in carbohydrates and suitable for trekking, also hot drinks including coca leaf tea which is excellent for the altitude, teatime everyday (tea, coffee, biscuits, popcorn), (3breakfast-3lunches-3dinners-3afternoon tees), we always offer a vegetarian option upon request, and we provide available boiled water each morning for your water bottles.
   
GUIDE & PORTERS- Licensed bilingual tour guide (2 guides over 8 people), porters who will carry your personal items (7kg) in duffel bags that we provide and camping equipment for the Inca Trail. You must carry your daypack. We always provide 1.5 porters for every tourist. Local guides for the Jungle trip.
   
CAMPING EQUIPMENT- We provide brand new 4 season four people capacity tents for two people, roll mattresses, dinning room tent, kitchen tent, toilet tent, seats, tables, tent for the guides, tent for the porters, kitchen gear and backpacks, warm clothes and life insurance for the porters.
   
ACCOMMODATIONS- Room with two beds: 2 nights in Cusco ***Hotel, 1 night in Ollantaytambo ***Hotel, 3 nights in camping tents, 2 nights Jungle lodge.
   
OTHERS ITEMS- Local guide for permanent assistance, first aid kit, oxygen bottle.
What's Excluded?
   
Lunch and dinner while you stay in Cusco city and Aguas Calientes town; You must consider a budget from  US$10.00 to US$20.00  for each meal.
Sleeping Bag.- Can be rented in our office for US $10.00 for the entire trek. Airport taxes and tips for the staff.
Recommended things to bring
 

Sleeping bag (you can rent at the SUNRISE EXPEDITIONS office), one litre of water, rain gear or poncho (plastic poncho can be purchased in Cusco), hiking boots (running shoes are not recommended), warm jacket  or fleece, wind coat, t-shirts, shorts, long pants, sun hat, wool hat, flashlight, extra batteries, sun block, insect repellent, toilet paper, garbage bag, small towel, bathing suit (for hot springs), camera, extra film and extra batteries for your camera, binoculars, snacks (such as chocolates, energy bars), emergency money and walking stick (optional).

Payment details
We require a non-refundable trek deposit of US$150.00 per person. The deposit can be sent by a WESTERN UNION or to our BANK ACCOUNT money transfer. This is the fastest and most secure form of payment in Peru. The money transfer should be in the name of SUNRISE EXPEDITIONS TOUR OPERATOR E.I.R.L. Once you arrive in Cusco you must pay the remaining balance in cash prior to beginning your tour. We accept both US Dollars and Peruvian Soles (local currency).

A wonderful tour that combines two of the most beautiful regions of South America (the Andes and jungle). This tour takes you to trek in the ancient Incan foot steps visiting lovely Inca temples and observing stunning mountain scenery. We will explore the lost city of the Incas. You have one day to rest in Cusco before you visit the jungle and feel the enigmatic charm of nature. You have an immense opportunity to observe wildlife since the jungle is habitat for over 1800 types of birds, numerous animals and vast amounts of vegetation.
Starting & finishing point: Cusco airport.

TIMING: 11 days Starting and ending at Cusco airport.

ITINERARY:

Day 1: Cusco.
Arrive in Cusco at any time. However, we must your know flight details for your reception and transfer to your hotel. There is a briefing about the tour and how to get around in the city. On this day there is no planned activity. Walk slowly to get used to the altitude.

Day 2: Sacred valley.
A wonderful day driving and walking through The Sacred Valley of the Incas. You will see a fascinating Indian market in Pisaq which is a good place to buy gifts. You also will appreciate the marvelous living Inca town of Ollantaytambo, which is complemented by great mountain scenery that the Sacred Valley offers you. We are going to spend the night at a nice hotel in Ollantaytambo Town.

Day 3, 4, 5 y 6: Inca Trail.
This morning we travel by private bus to Pisqhqk'chu(km. 82). The trip takes an hour to the starting point of the trek. The local porters and the guides will organize everything for us. They will carry our heavy bags. We just carry our daypacks and enjoy the spectacular mountain scenery as well as the fascinating Inca monuments. The last day we will start the hike early escorted by an experienced guide to arrive to Machupicchu in time for sunrise. Late in the afternoon we will take the train through the Urubamba Valley to Cusco.  We will arrive in the evening and you will be transferred to your hotel.

Day 7: Free Day.
Resting day or you can take optional tours in Cusco (City tour, rafting, horse back riding, mountain biking, etc).

Day 8, 9: Jungle Trip.
In the morning you will be transferred to the airport and take a 30 minute flight to the jungle. You will have accommodations in a lodge beside The Madre de Dios River. Local transport is by motorized canoe. Our local guide will teach you about the jungle. The next day after this magnificent jungle exploration you will fly back to Cusco.

Day 10: Cusco.
Return to Cusco and stay in a hotel. The afternoon is free to explore Cusco.

Day 11: Departure day.
Transfer to the airport.

Aviable Departure dates.- We leave every Sunday, Monday and Tuesday all year round. During February we operate alternative routes because the inca trail is closed for maintenance.  We don’t offer a waiting list.
