Cusco - Perú

Cusco, sacred city and the capitol of the Inca Empire was the government center of the four big administrative regions named Tahuantinsuyo. This fabulous empire extended to a great part of what today is Ecuador, Colombia, Perú, Bolivia, Argentina, and Chile. The Inca Empire was a very well structured society. It stands out for having a great knowledge in architecture, hydraulic engineering, medicine and agriculture.

One day excursion that combines trail riding with an opportunity to learn more about Incan Culture and enjoy the awesome landscapes.

ITINERARY:

For this tour we pick you up from your hotel at 09:00, and travel by bus to Chincheros Village where we begin our 30 km biking adventure. You will see spectacular landscapes surrounding Huaypo Lagoon then we are going to visit Maras (a typical and colonial village). Also we’ll visit the amazing terraces in Moray and the interesting salt mines. Finally we will enjoy riding downhill to Urubamba Town for lunch. We will return around 16:00.
