All necessary things for this tour:
   
TRANSPORTATION- transfer in/out airport/hotel/airport, private bus for the Sacred Valley tour, the same bus will transfer you from Ollantaytambo to Cachora starting point of the Inca Trail, bus down from Machupicchu to Aguas Calientes, tourist train backpacker class from Aguas Calientes to Cusco, transfer to your hotel, flight tickets round trip from Cusco to Puerto Maldonado.
   
ENTRANCE FEES- For the Sacred Valley tour, Choquequirao trail and Machupicchu.
 
MEALS- All breakfasts in the hotels, as well as the meals in the jungle lodge and delicious meals on the Inca trail prepared by professional chefs. Food includes pancakes, omelets, soups, fresh fruit, avocado, pasta, chicken, fish, meat, rice, all rich in carbohydrates and suitable for trekking, also hot drinks including coca leaf tea which is excellent for the altitude, teatime everyday (tea, coffee, biscuits, popcorn), (3breakfast-3lunches-3dinners-3afternoon tees), we always offer a vegetarian option upon request, and we provide available boiled water each morning for your water bottles.
   
GUIDE & PORTERS- Licensed bilingual tour guide (2 guides over 8 people), porters who will carry your personal items (7kg) in duffel bags that we provide and camping equipment for the Inca Trail. You must carry your daypack. We always provide 1.5 porters for every tourist. Local guides for the Jungle trip.
   
CAMPING EQUIPMENT- We provide brand new 4 season four people capacity tents for two people, roll mattresses, dinning room tent, kitchen tent, toilet tent, seats, tables, tent for the guides, tent for the porters, kitchen gear and backpacks, warm clothes and life insurance for the porters.
   
ACCOMMODATIONS- Room with two beds: 2 nights in Cusco ***Hotel, 1 night in Ollantaytambo ***Hote, 3 nights in camping tents.
   
OTHERS ITEMS- Local guide for permanent assistance, first aid kit, oxygen bottle.
Recommended things to bring
 

Sleeping bag (you can rent at the SUNRISE EXPEDITIONS office), one litre of water, rain gear or poncho (plastic poncho can be purchased in Cusco), hiking boots (running shoes are not recommended), warm jacket  or fleece, wind coat, t-shirts, shorts, long pants, sun hat, wool hat, flashlight, extra batteries, sun block, insect repellent, toilet paper, garbage bag, small towel, bathing suit (for hot springs), camera, extra film and extra batteries for your camera, binoculars, snacks (such as chocolates, energy bars), emergency money and walking stick (optional).

Is it for me?
 
Anybody who likes to hike can do it. This trek 45 km. It is a moderate 4 day trek. On this tour everyone sets their own pace. The highest we go is 2750m. If you don’t like to trek we have alternative programs by train to Machupicchu with an extra night in Aguas Calientes Town. For this option you must let us know in advance.

This is a trip of a lifetime and designed for travelers who want to see the most popular destinations in the Andes in a single visit. We will visit all the famous Incan sites and see fascinating mountain scenery of Peru. This trip is cultural, natural and the mystical. We will travel through the Sacred Valley of the Incas exploring their last refuges. We will follow the Apurimac Canyon and afterwards visit the lost city of the Incas – Machupicchu.

TIMING: 8 days Starting and ending at Cusco airport.

ITINERARY:

Day 1: Cusco
Arrive in Cusco at any time. However, we must know your flight details for the reception and transfer to your hotel. There will be a briefing about the tour and the city of Cusco. Today there is no planned activity. Walk slowly to get used to the altitude.

Day 2: Sacred valley
It is a wonderful day driving, walking and enjoying stunning mountain scenery. We will see a fascinating Indian market at Pisaq, which is a good place to buy gifts for relatives and friends. Then we will visit the marvelous Inca towns of Pisaq and Ollantaytambo, where we will spend the night in a nice hotel.

Day 3: Cusco-Cachora-Playa.
Rosalina Today is dedicated to explore these extraordinary Incan remains. Our guide will teach us about this marvelous place and show us areas that are still covered in wild flora. Later you will have extra time to explore alone. After we finish the exploration we will start the descent to Raqhaypata Campsite. Along the route we will see many of wild flowers like beautiful orchids, begonias, etc.

Day 4: Playa Rosalina-Choquequirao
We leave our camp at 06:00. After that, we cross the river and climb towards Santa Rosa zigzagging up a steep slope for approximately two hours. From there we will walk two more hours to reach Choquekirao. Choquekirao is an Incan archaeological complex, the last refuge of the Incas. We will set up our camp and enjoy some free time to explore the Inca terraces and buildings. At sunset we’ll sit and enjoy views of the canyon while condors fly overhead.

Day 5: Choquequirao-Playa Rosalina
In the morning you will enjoy a complete guided tour of the Choquekirao complex. After the tour we will start our walk back to Santa Rosa where we will have lunch. Then we will continue to Rosalina beach and camp.
Day 6: Playa Rosalina-Cachora-Ollantaytambo
Leaving the camp at 06:00 we walk back towards Capuliyoc Pass from where we will have another great opportunity to enjoy the canyon. After lunch, we will continue hiking two more hours following the return route to Cachora.  There will be a bus waiting to take us to Ollantaytambo Town, where we will stay in a nice hotel.

Day 7: Ollantaytambo-Machupicchu-Cusco
In the morning we'll go to Aguas Calientes town by train. Then we'll take a bus up to MACCHUPICHU, accompanied by a specialized guide who will take us on without pressure since the other tour groups arrive at midday. Late in the afternoon we'll return to Cusco arriving in the evening and transfer you to your hotel.

Day 8: Departure day
Transfer to the airport.

Payment Details
We require a non-refundable trek deposit of US$150.00 per person. The deposit can be sent by a WESTERN UNION or to our BANK ACCOUNT money transfer. This is the fastest and most secure form of payment in Peru. The money transfer should be in the name of SUNRISE EXPEDITIONS TOUR OPERATOR E.I.R.L. Once you arrive in Cusco you must pay the remaining balance in cash prior to beginning your tour. We accept both US Dollars and Peruvian Soles (local currency).
