Cusco - Perú

Cusco, sacred city and the capitol of the Inca Empire was the government center of the four big administrative regions named Tahuantinsuyo. This fabulous empire extended to a great part of what today is Ecuador, Colombia, Perú, Bolivia, Argentina, and Chile. The Inca Empire was a very well structured society. It stands out for having a great knowledge in architecture, hydraulic engineering, medicine and agriculture.

This is a full day excursion that combines picturesque towns and amazing Incan sites with beautiful scenery in the Sacred Valley. This was a key area of settlements for the Incas.

ITINERARY:

We start in Cusco and travel to the archaeological sites of Pisac and visit this typical market. Later we go to the ruins of Ollantaytambo Archaeological Site and visit this Inca living town. On the way back to Cusco we will visit Chinchero Village and enter San Pedro Church. Chincheros has an amazing mountain backdrop often with snow capped mountains in the distance.
