Cusco, sacred city and the capitol of the Inca Empire was the government center of the four big administrative regions named Tahuantinsuyo. This fabulous empire extended to a great part of what today is Ecuador, Colombia, Perú, Bolivia, Argentina, and Chile. The Inca Empire was a very well structured society. It stands out for having a great knowledge in architecture, hydraulic engineering, medicine and agriculture.

The hike was superb. The pace was great and Leo was very good about describing the flora,fauna and he loveof the land.
The food was plentiful and well prepared, in every way, we felt very cared for.
Leo was concerned about of the passes so he ensured that a horse was saddled in case a ride un carryung oxigen and first aid kit, He was always concerned about our well being and checked regularly to see that we were feeling well. The porters were extremely helpful and pleasant everyone always had a smile and congratolations for our accomplishements.
